Hydraulic Cylinders

Hydraulic Jack Failure

Does your hydraulic elevator have an unprotected in-ground jack? If so there is a possibility for failure in the integrity of the steel cylinder caused by corrosion and electrolysis. When this occurs the potential for injury, property damage and environmental contamination is extremely high. Catastrophic failure can occur when a cylinder fails abruptly causing the elevator to fall uncontrollably.

A properly installed and monitored PVC protection system will protect against corrosion and the effects of electrolysis while meeting current code standards.
